Ceremony is a gathering of people, you have selected, to support you in your next journey.
Ceremony is a naming of who and what you are stepping into.
Ceremony can include a celebration but not at all ceremonies are celebrations. For example, a Drying of the Tears ceremony for someone completing their grieving would offer a welcoming of a new way or life rather than celebration.
How long does it take to create my ceremony?
Typically it takes roughly four weeks or more.
Much of the timing will depend on two things:
- Climate (is it warm enough) and getting the best location.
- Working with your chosen family to prepare them in supporting you during and after the ceremony
Plan on booking several months in advance to ensure we have enough time to create your unique ceremony

How do I know if we’re the right fit?
Set up a complementary 30 minute call or Zoom session discuss your intentions, goals and learn more about how ceremony works. This will allow us to see if we’re a good fit for one another.
You’ll start by having your 1:1 session with Melanie. From there, you’ll meet 3-5 times, over the phone or by Zoom to prepare. Melanie will work with your chosen family to help them understand their important roles and how they will support you (or the person going through ceremony). Each ceremony is unique and customized to your needs.
Cost varies depending on the type of ceremony + location.
Ceremony occurs outdoor in the elements, such as the forest, ponds or mountains. We gather in nature as our ancestors have always done to root ourselves into becoming and in communication with the beauty and wisdom of the elements.
